Original HTML with and without inline images:

My Home Page
This is a link to my official Home Page. It changes frequently, and is meant to be the starting point for anyone who wants more information about me or what I am doing. My resume, my schedule, my list of favorite things, my current projects, etc. are all somewhere within my home page. All of the graphics on my home page with very few exceptions were created, scanned, resized, transparentized, and/or captured by me.

NewtNet

This is a site for Newton Users that I have created. I've gotten a lot of feedback, all positive or full of good suggestions. This is more than just a page, but a complete site design. I am responsible for nearly all page graphics, including the capture of icons from various sites to add to the sites listings.

My Resume

This is my Resume. I hope to enhance it more in the future, but when possible, I send people the URL for my Resume rather than an actual paper copy. I figure, the kinds of places I want to work at will be able to view it, and I can update it regularly without being afraid that I'll need to send out updated copies.

ITSO Home Page

I have been involved to varying degrees with the implementation of the page for the Information Technology Student Organization. It contains a variety of information about the club, its members, its projects, and its other activities.

Text to HTML translation:

Start Documents
These Start Documents contain the same information as the ones published by RIT On-Line. The conversion process involved translating the documents from Word format into Rich Text Format and then into HTML. A lot of touch-up was involved to make them copy the format of the paper documents as closely as possible. A short index was also added to the top of each document, as well as an overall index to the entire collection.

Yet Another Newsletter

This Newsletter was created in a similar way as the Start Documents, but the goal was not to follow the form of the original newsletter as carefully, so I created a new header (based on the old one), and arranged the text a little more freely, perhaps making some things clearer.

Pages with Tables:

My Schedule
This is my current schedule in a table format. I first did this as a way of learning how to use tables. It was a challenge to mark things that ended on the half-hour instead of on the hour, but through a little creative authoring I still managed to achieve the desired effect.

The ITSO Calendar

This calendar was created for the Information Technology Student Organization. It is intended to indicate upcoming events and meetings. The plan here is to have multiple calendars on the page, one for each month, each date of interest highlighted and clickable to go on to further information about that event.

Pages with Forms:

Interlibrary Loan Request Form
This is a form that was created to test how suitable a world wide web form is for taking Interlibrary Loan requests. I tried to duplicate the on-line form currently available from the the school's text-based infonet system. Although I don't like the layout, it does show that I can create forms with all different types of elements.

Other Features (clickable maps/etc.):

Andy's Face Interactive
The image of my face on this page is a clickable imagemap. Because Netscape Commerce Server is installed on this machine, .map files can now be located in Student accounts, and this is one of the first clickable maps to be implemented on our system. (Kinda lame, I realize, but it works...)

Search Page for Start Documents

This is the front page for a searching tool that indexes the RIT On-Line Start Documents. This project involved obtaining 'swish' and 'wwwwais' from a site on the World Wide Web and compiling and configuring them so that the start documents could be searched.
